Time to submit the very cream of your work to The Magnum Expression Award. Did so already with that one image that… well, over to you!

You can submit your work now for the 2012 competition. Read the submission guidelines carefully. They’re simple, but you also have to submit a short bio and tell about your motivations for producing submitted work.

There are no limitations on the subject matter of your submission. What the judges will like? Photography that goes beyond the surface level to provide fresh and engaging perspectives.

The winner will receive a mentorship from a Magnum jury photographer.

A hint: they’re not after perfect studio work. Think Magnum. Think documentary. People shots. Maybe even black and white.
