Now That’s Inspirational, Wonderful, Chill-Inducing and Empowering Filmmaking

Not much to add. Well maybe the words of a good friend: “Although I can personally testify to the fact women too abuse men, the abuse of women by men is far more prevalent. This Cro-Magnon Man attitude toward women must stop.” See below’s powerfully rendered video message.

Video below is an invitation to woman and men to put an end to the status quo. An act of solidarity, and a refusal to accept violence against women and girls as a given.

One billion women across the globe will be raped or beaten in their lifetimes. That’s a really depressing statistic. So on the 15th anniversary of V-Day, February 14, 2013, the One Billion Rising campaign is inviting one billion women (and those who love them) to stand up and dance — to demand an end to violence against women.

On February 14, 2013, a billion people will be dancing. Will you?
