With the unveiling of the fast lovely looking XF 56mm F1.2 R portrait lens for X mount Fujifilm introduced its updated XF lens roadmap for 2014 and 2015. Altogether this brings the number of lenses for the X series to 17.

Throughout 2014 and early 2015 expect these releases:
- A bright XF 16-55mm F2.8 R OIS standard zoom
- A bright XF 50-140mm F2.8 R OIS telephoto zoom
- A high magnification XF 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 R OIS zoom
- A super telephoto zoom (focal length and aperture TBC)
- A high speed wide angle prime lens (focal length and aperture TBC)
Add the Zeiss Touit trinity with the fast 12mm, 32mm and upcoming 50mm (Amazon / B&H / Adorama) lenses, and you got a complete lens biosphere satisfying any photographer’s needs.
