Subject/object of this series is the marble and granite mountain church San Giovanni Battista in Mogno, Valle Maggia, Switzerland, by well-known architect Mario Botta.
Near the end of a long and winding road, seen from outside, the church of Saint John the Baptist is elliptical in shape, with a slanting roof and black and white stripes. The interior has a dizzying checkerboard design in the same colors. Can’t do much wrong as a photographer…
